FAQ - Bending presses

Which are the differences between the old EM6 and the new CLOCK2 CN installed in SIMASV DIGIT bending presses?

The stroke programming and adjustment through CN electronic positioner model CLOCK2 in SIMASV DIGIT bending presses, even under the highest working power, allows, as the old EM6 CN, to obtain the desired bending angle without practice tests and samples. Thanks to this system the machine is suitable both for prototypes manufacturing and for large serial production. The new electronic control CLOCK2 - has a more innovative graphics - has an enhanced memory of 550 programs - allows to program in DEGREES the bending angle - offers an improved flexibility in programs and data transmission. For further details, see the following comparative table:

EM6

CLOCK2

high resolution liquid crystal screen with maximum of 5 digits with decimal display

displaying on a high luminescence and resolution LCD screen of all working functions with 16x2 led characters

16 button keyboard, 16x2 character led, X axis (punch stroke), Y axis (lateral piece positioning)

touch-screen keyboard, complete with 35 keys,,16x2 led characters, full view of both axes "X" (axis stroke – punch) and "Y" (axis stroke side gauge positioner)

25 programs memory on each axis with the option of programming up to 8 work procedures per programme (99 repeat steps)

memory of 550 programs in "X" axis and "Y" axis, each of the 2 axis has a program with 15 different lines – that can be repeated 999 times

-

BENDING FUNCTION: (with die + punch) programming in DEGREES of the bending angle directly from CN, data setting punch and die material thickness - possibility of setting and adjusting back elastic coefficient to every different angle

-

TUB BENDING FUNCTION: programming in DEGREES of the bending angle directly from the CN with the possibility of setting coefficient adjustment elastic-return

-

USB port for downloading programs on an external memory stick for saving and/or input data (optional)

How do the various press models differ?
Basically in their power in Tons. It is therefore necessary to know the type of material, thickness and dimensions of the piece to be folded in order to determine the type of bending press most suited to the type of processing.
Does the maximum machine stroke differ according to model?
Certainly. The maximum stroke of the mobile punch is 200 mm in the smallest model, going up to 330 mm in the larger models.
Is it necessary to carry out the calibration of the hydraulic pressure upon first installation?
Absolutely not. All models are properly calibrated during testing by authorised personnel. No adjustments should be carried out on the machines unless previously authorised by the company.
